Remember Jack?
Let's go over his redeeming qualities before I mildly defame his fake name on the internet.
- Good conversationalist!! He always asks me questions about myself which I appreciate.
- Has paid on every date (all two of them) that we've been on
- We have compatible senses of humor
- Likes to have fun
- We have a lot of interests in common
If you'll recall, we rescheduled this second date about 3 times last week. Last Thursday he texts me and says let's for sure do Monday (yesterday.)
So Monday's happening, I spent most of the day on BYU campus cosplaying as a student because I needed an academic environment to work on grad school essays (I basically wrote 4 out of 6 of the ones I need to write🥳) I'd resolved to not sending the confirmation text for the date because I decided if this man really wants to go out with me again he'll do something about it. At 5:00pm(!!!) I get a text asking if 6:00pm would be an ok time to go out. I said "Sounds good!!" and then waited several minutes for a return text with some sort of game plan as to if we'd be carpooling or meeting there or what but after being left on read for 10 min I decided I'd better send a text saying "Do you want to pick me up? Do you want me to pick you up? Do you want to meet there?" etc. He requests that I pick him up(!!!) So I do, but I got to his place a little after 6:00pm because I couldn't decide what to wear lol. I debated whether I should walk up to his door on the 3rd floor to get him or not because I was a little salty about having to go pick him up myself but I did end up walking up to his door because I felt like I should ğŸ˜
We get in my car, he says he has to be back by 7:15pm for church calling stuff, I say cool.
Honestly the date itself was fine? Maybe even good? I enjoy his company. We got two desserts and split them both and he was really cool about me being gluten free. But all the circumstances preceding the date just had me in weird mood.
We were on our way back to his apartment by like 7:00pm. I walked him back up to his door and we hugged, he said he had fun, and we departed.
And then to reward myself for going on yet another date I drove myself to the Orem Public Library to check out the next book for my friend's book club. Yippee.
Overall I'm confused by this boys actions. And as a result of that I've resolved not to instigate anything. We are 100% waiting for him to make the next move here.
